Hannah Lising was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 12 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Audrey Flores was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Verdugo Hills had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took down the Toreadors 59-41.
Poly is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Verdugo Hills, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
