Mora will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Pine City at 7:00 PM. Mora are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Pine City are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses.
Mora put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put the hurt on Moose Lake/Willow River with a sharp 51-30 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Mora had established a 44-22 advantage.
Meanwhile, Pine City were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 6-12 to Esko.
Mora were able to grind out a solid win over Pine City the last time the two teams met, winning 14-0. Mora's win shoved Pine City out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
