The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northern Cambria in their matchups with Cambria Heights: they've now lost nine in a row.
Sienna Kirsch continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cambria Heights, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Kirsch has scored at least a third of Cambria Heights' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracey Vinglish, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Northern Cambria's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Cambria Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Northern Cambria won't have much time to rest: their next game is against River Valley at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. River Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. Cambria Heights' road trip will continue as they head out to face Homer-Center at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. Homer-Center has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
