The Halifax Academy Knights on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Wildwood Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Halifax Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wildwood in Florida (Halifax Academy is ranked 290th, while Wildwood is ranked 590th).
On Saturday, Halifax Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Flagler Palm Coast.
Wildwood suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by South Sumter 74-42. Wildwood just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Halifax Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Wildwood, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11.
