Meanwhile, Arroyo's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Encinal 56-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Arroyo has suffered since December 6, 2023.
St. Joseph Notre Dame has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Arroyo, they bumped their record down to 2-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
