The East Tech Scarabs and the Campus International Trailblazers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing is sure in East Tech's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Trailblazers have been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
In what's become a running theme this season, East Tech gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bard Early College 86-30 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-14.
Keshawn Ellington was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Johann Gaines, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Campus International were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Glenville at home and fell 91-12. While losing is never fun, Campus International can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Tarblooders are ranked 120th).
East Tech has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Campus International, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
