The Canyon Springs Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Bloomington Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Canyon Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Last Friday, Canyon Springs humbled Jurupa Valley with a 47-15 victory.
Izabella Tejada was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Jones, who scored 4 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Bloomington suffered a rough 52-32 defeat at the hands of San Bernardino on Friday.
The losses dropped Canyon Springs to 3-6 and Jurupa Valley to 1-8.
