Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Kingsland Knights, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 14-12. Kingsland's loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaaleem Reiland, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 117 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Howard, who picked up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Kingsland's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In that department, Parker Johnson was the leader with two sacks.
Kingsland's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Nevis, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Kingsland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nevis also has no future games currently scheduled.
