The Turlock Christian Eagles will face off against the Denair Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Turlock Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Esparto get on the board and left with a 28-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on six straight.

Max Salas and Winston York made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Salas pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, York pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, Salas posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At the plate, Salas got on base in two of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while York went 4-for-6 with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Blake Starn was a standout: he went a perfect 5-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. Those five hits gave him a new career-high. Cam Kelley was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Turlock Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .585. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Denair got the win against Delta Charter on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-2.
Like Turlock Christian, Denair also got a great game from a two-way player: Thomas Lundquist. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Denair is 2-1 when Lundquist allows one or fewer hits, but 9-12 otherwise. Lundquist was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Denair got a massive performance out of Brayden Hart, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Hart has become a key player for the Coyotes: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Connor Hart, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
Denair's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Turlock Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Turlock Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Denair struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.7 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Turlock Christian's way against Denair in their previous matchup back in February, as Turlock Christian made off with a 17-7 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
