The Los Osos Grizzlies will venture away from home to face off against the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Los Osos is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
While Los Osos' win against Chino Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grizzlies skirted past the Huskies 3-1.
Wyatt Mohler made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mohler was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other pitching news, Gavin Loeb-Keene tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
Back at the plate, Hunter Meyer was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Los Osos hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Rancho Cucamonga got themselves on the board against Upland on Saturday, but Upland never followed suit. They came out on top against the Highlanders/Scots by a score of 5-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Highlanders/Scots: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Brock Foulds, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Los Osos' record is now 12-3. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their record now sits at 13-3.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Los Osos hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Rancho Cucamonga struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Los Osos came out on top in a nail-biter against Rancho Cucamonga when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
