The Willits Wolverines will head out on the road to  square off against  the Sonoma Academy Coyotes  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  match red-hot, with Willits sitting on  11 straight  victories and Sonoma Academy on three.
Last Tuesday,  everything went Willits' way against Roseland University Prep as Willits made off with  a  55-33 win. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  games by 22  points or more this season.

 Cecily Potter was  her usual excellent self,  going 5 for 10  en route to 12  points in addition to seven  rebounds and three  steals. She is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last six games she's  played.  Mia Chavez was another key player,  putting up 11 points.
 Willits  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in six consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Sonoma Academy). They claimed a resounding  68-8 victory over Technology. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Coyotes with their most commanding win of the  season.
 Sonoma Academy pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.1 points per game. As for Willits, their record now sits at 11-2.
