Basketball Recap: Ann Sobrato Sets Scoring Season-High Against Wilcox

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ann Sobrato). They walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Wilcox Chargers on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Ann Sobrato found their leader in sophomore Cameron Isle, who posted 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Isle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaede Salom, who put up ten points.

Ann Sobrato has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Wilcox, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ann Sobrato will challenge Harker at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wilcox, they will venture away from home to square off against Saratoga at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Saratoga's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so Wilcox's offense will have their work cut out for them.
