Molly Arrocena spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Collins Hill got a massive performance out of Trinity Holt, who went 3-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those seven RBI gave Holt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ketring, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
Collins Hill moved to 12-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Peachtree Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.
Collins Hill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-3 loss against Archer on the 9th. Peachtree Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
