The Windber Ramblers entered their tilt with the Rockwood Rockets with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Windber took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-30 victory over Rockwood. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windber also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Leading Windber to victory were Kaylie Gaye and Mariah Andrews. Gaye scored 14 points along with six steals, while Andrews dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was Gaye's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Angel James was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Windber now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rockwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windber is on the road again on Monday and play against Southern Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Hopefully Southern Fulton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday. As for Rockwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Meyersdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
