On Friday, Burroughs didn't have too much trouble with Trinity Classical Academy at home as they won 46-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Burroughs.
Burroughs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elizabeth Amoroso out in front who scored 11 points along with nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Mariam Fahs, who scored 14 points.
Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
Burroughs won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Shalhevet at 7:30 p.m. on December 30, 2023. Shalhevet will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Trinity Classical Academy and Providence will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Providence is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
