Fruita Monument gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Heritage Eagles 11-1. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 5, 2024 (when they won 12-0).

Fruita Monument got a massive performance out of Lexi Hulet, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Hulet a new career-high. Addison Cutshall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fruita Monument didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Vista Ridge on the 22nd. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next match, a 14-10 victory against Pueblo South on the 22nd.
