Fishburne Military's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devin Charles, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovanni Belisle, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roanoke Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Demarcus Brown, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Brown hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Jayden Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Fishburne Military's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Roanoke Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Fishburne Military will head out on the road to face off against New Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in New Covenant's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Fishburne Military has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
