The Collins Family Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Moreno Valley on the road and fell 86-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Collins Family has scored all season.
Aiden Finley was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five assists and five steals for Moreno Valley. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jamall Thompson, who scored eight points along with six assists and five steals.
Collins Family has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Moreno Valley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.
Collins Family and ESAT will face off at 3:00 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Moreno Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th.
