The Coosa Eagles will head out on the road to  square off against  the Hardaway Hawks  at 2:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Coosa gave up the first  runs last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They skirted past Southeast Whitfield County  4-3.
 Coosa's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Austin Reece, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.  Charlie Cannon was another,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
Meanwhile,  everything went Hardaway's way against Chattahoochee County on Thursday as Hardaway made off with  a  14-1 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Hawks.
 Tristan Jackson was a standout: he got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Christian Eleby, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Hardaway  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .688. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chattahoochee County only posted  an  OBP of  .286.
 Hardaway's record is now 2-0. As for Coosa,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
