Franklin County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ajaylen McNair, who scored 14 points. Sadiq Jones was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Clay, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin County is on the road again on Monday and play against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th.
