While Gordon Lee put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Christian Heritage. The Trojans put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 9-0 win. Considering the Trojans have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gordon Lee has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Christian Heritage, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gordon Lee will challenge rival Dade County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 2.9, the Wolverines 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Christian Heritage is set to face off against their familiar foe Coosa at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
