Roosevelt entered their tilt with Edison on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Edison Tigers 62-42. The Rough Riders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Roosevelt got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nyleigh Gregory out in front who went 7 of 10 on her way to 26 points in addition to six assists and five steals. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Gregory has scored at least a third of Roosevelt's points. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Reese, who went 7 for 11 en route to 18 points and eight boards.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Edison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Roosevelt will face off against Hoover at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Edison, they will host Fresno at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison is facing Fresno at the right time seeing as Fresno is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
