Kori Beasley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Collegium Charter, scoring 20 points along with four steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Beasley has scored all season. Nasira Towles was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
The Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.0 points per game. As for Collegium Charter, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Collegium Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dock Mennonite at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dock Mennonite is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
