The 2021 Texas high school football season enters the final stage.
Teams have persevered through a rugged regular season not to mention
COVID-19 and all its protocols to advance to the state's ultimate
tournament.
Defending 6A Division 1 state champion
Westlake (Austin) went 14-0 last
season and is back to claim the the top prize in the state.
The other defending state champions are
Katy (6A-2), Ryan (5A-1), Aledo (5A-2), Argyle (4A-1), Carthage (4A-2), Jim Ned (3A-1), Canadian (3A-2), Shiner (2A-1), Windthorst (2A-2), Sterling City (1A-1), Balmorhea (1A-2).
