The Galt Warriors's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 41-18 margin over Bradshaw Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Galt has posted against Bradshaw Christian since May 25, 2021.
Among those leading the charge was Akayla-Joy Gunter, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emily Pena, who scored eight points.
Galt's win ended a 11-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-19. As for Bradshaw Christian, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Galt will head out on the road to take on El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. El Dorado knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Galt likes a good challenge. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Liberty Ranch presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bradshaw Christian in California (Liberty Ranch is ranked 298th, while Bradshaw Christian is ranked 1300th).
