The Oroville Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They secured a 45-41 W over Upper Lake. The victory was just what Oroville needed coming off of a 53-25 defeat in their prior contest.
Oroville was led to victory by Ayianna Herrera and Leila Jackson. Herrera scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Jackson dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Jackson's third in a row with at least ten points.
Oroville's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Upper Lake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oroville and Wheatland will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Wheatland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Saturday. Upper Lake and Lower Lake will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lower Lake is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
