Fossil Ridge is 7-1 against Greeley West since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The SaberCats will take on the Spartans at 3:30 p.m. Fossil Ridge knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Greeley West likes a good challenge.
Fossil Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Poudre 21-8 on Thursday.

Fossil Ridge got a massive performance out of Briella Myers, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one double. Those four hits gave Myers a new career-high. Rylee Bullers also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Fossil Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Greeley West ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over Roosevelt. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Amaya Cron spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Aubrey Perez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison DeVault, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Fossil Ridge's record is now 7-13-1. As for Greeley West, their record now sits at 13-9.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fossil Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .337. However, it's not like Greeley West struggles in that department as they've averaged .408. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Fossil Ridge beat Greeley West 19-15 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the SaberCats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
