The Aquinas Falcons stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Arrowhead Christian 60-25 at home. The win was nothing new for Aquinas as they're now sitting on four straight.
Aquinas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Breanna Bates led the charge by scoring 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeleine De Kodia, who scored seven points along with six steals.
Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Arrowhead Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-5.
Aquinas will square off against Pacifica Christian/Orange County at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Arrowhead Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ontario Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
