For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Bremen and Temple have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Bremen never let Temple get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Chase Palmer was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Cole Mckenzie was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Bremen hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Bremen now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Temple, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bremen beat Temple by a score of 16-1 later that day.
