While Olympian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Hornets on Tuesday as Olympian made off with a 9-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Not much got past Aaron Gonzalez, who gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Lincoln off the board. Gonzalez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Daniel Rodriguez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Nico Cintron was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

Olympian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Olympian has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Escondido on the 26th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-5 loss against Chula Vista on the 27th.
