Central Dauphin is 10-0 against State College since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Last Friday, Central Dauphin earned a 38-25 win over Chambersburg. Given Central Dauphin's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Chambersburg is ranked 398th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Alexis Ferguson, who scored 21 points along with three steals and two blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Cavoli, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, State College scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Friday. They put the hurt on Chambersburg with a sharp 64-39 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win State College has posted yet this season.
Central Dauphin pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for State College, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
