Sulphur Springs is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 65-7 win over Community. Considering the Wildcats have won six games by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Cooper went supernova, throwing for 294 yards and six TDs while completing 93.8% of his passes. Those 294 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Dobson Martin helped Cooper out on the ground, rushing for 83 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Sulphur Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Mason Horne, Nathan Adams, and Grayson Hardy picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Lake Dallas entered their contest against Aubrey on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons fell just short of the Chaparrals by a score of 14-11.
Sulphur Springs will have to contain Ben Allen as he made an impact in Lake Dallas' last game. He threw for 120 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 40 yards.
The victory made it two in a row for Sulphur Springs and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Lake Dallas, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
