Perkins strolled into their game on Wednesday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Port Clinton Redskins with a sharp 9-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Perkins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Port Clinton are ranked 322nd).

Perkins' offense was hitting Port Clinton from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Garrett Corso led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Perkins' win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Port Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perkins will challenge Sandusky at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Clinton, they will face off against Clyde at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Port Clinton are facing Clyde at the right time seeing as Clyde are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
