When it comes to explaining why West lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caleigh Adams. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Adams' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Nala Roberts Wright was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 12 rebounds.
West's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Yucaipa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
