 Even though they lost, El Camino  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 14  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Rio Americano is  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 12 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record  this season. As for El Camino, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-4.
 Rio Americano will have a chance to go back-to-back against El Camino: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
