De Anza is 1-9 against Swett since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The De Anza Dons will head out on the road to challenge the Swett Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for De Anza and four for Swett.
De Anza suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 71-29 loss at the hands of Salesian College Preparatory. De Anza has not had much luck with Salesian College Preparatory recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Swett took a serious blow against Salesian College Preparatory on Wednesday, falling 66-38. While losing is never fun, Swett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 536th, while Salesian College Preparatory is ranked 140th).
De Anza has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Swett, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 12-7.
De Anza might still be hurting after the 56-32 loss they got from Swett when the teams last played on January 5th. Can De Anza avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
