Lisbon barely beat Midland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles an 11-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Lions have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lisbon, bringing their record up to 20-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Midland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lisbon beat Midland by a score of 13-3 later that day.
