 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Dalton Chi, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Braxton Reed, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Sage Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Cerritos, their win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-3.
