Quakertown Christian were the 41-34 winner over Coventry Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Quakertown Christian fell just short of Coventry Christian by a score of 34-31.
Coventry Christian found their leader in underclassman Caitlin Cianci, who scored 13 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Cianci has scored at least a third of Coventry Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anika Wagner, who scored seven points.
Quakertown Christian now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Coventry Christian, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
Quakertown Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Coventry Christian, they will face off against Clearfield Alliance Christian at TBD on Friday.
