The St. Bonaventure Seraphs will face off against the Pacifica Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Bonaventure is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
St. Bonaventure had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Cate on Tuesday. The Seraphs blew past the Rams 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Seraphs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Luc Beauchemin was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rowen Kaiser, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Bonaventure kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cate only managed two.
Meanwhile, Pacifica fell victim to Rio Mesa and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tritons have suffered against the Spartans since March 17, 2023.
Sebastian Hernandez was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
Pacifica now has a losing record of 7-8. As for St. Bonaventure, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
St. Bonaventure's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Seraphs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Pacifica, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will St. Bonaventure continue to outrun the ball?
St. Bonaventure couldn't quite finish off Pacifica in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 6-4. Can the Seraphs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
