Basketball Recap: Wilson Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Wilson had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the San Marino Titans on Thursday.

Wilson found their leader in sophomore Jillian Tung, who posted 16 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Tung. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Chen, who had six points along with 12 boards and three steals.

Wilson's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for San Marino, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Wilson will be playing in front of their home fans against Los Altos at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for San Marino, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-30 win against Don Lugo on the 12th.
