Pleasanton barely beat Somerset the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pleasanton got a big performance out of Marcos Guardiola, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI. That's the most hits Guardiola has posted since back in February. Braxton Peterson was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

The win (which was Pleasanton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Somerset, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Pleasanton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Pearsall on the 17th. As for Somerset, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-4 victory against Devine on the 17th.
