Softball Recap: Omaha Central Wins Going Away Against Lincoln High

Omaha Central won the last time they faced Lincoln High and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Links. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Ada Jantzen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nichole Palfini, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Omaha Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .652. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln High only posted an OBP of .267.

Omaha Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lincoln High, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Omaha Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Omaha South on the 23rd. As for Lincoln High, they will face off against Lincoln North Star at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
