Duncan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Durant, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Demons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Lions a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Duncan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Durant, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Duncan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against MacArthur on the 8th. As for Durant, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Lindsay on the 5th.
