Texas A&M has not brought in a Top 100 basketball recruit since 2011.
You can throw that stat out the window after
Mansfield Timberview's (Arlington, Texas) 6-foot, 170-pound lefty point guard
Alex Robinson announced in September that he would be heading to College Station.

The pass-first point guard is the quintessential gym rat, possessing great athleticism, a 37-inch vertical jump and tremendous court vision.
Though the Wolves' season was not as successful as the ultra-competitive Robinson would have liked, he was still named to the
Star-Telegrams Super Team after leading the Arlington school with 17.7 points and four assists per game.
Robinson is the
No. 61 overall recruit in the 247Sports
Top 247. Robinson is the highest rated recruit to make his way to College Station since DeAndre Jordan in 2007 and Bryan Davis in 2006.
Robinson fielded offers from multiple schools, including successful programs such as Baylor, Florida State, Georgia and Houston, but decided on Texas A&M due to the school's loyalty, persistence and commitment during the recruiting process.
