 Addy Grace Martin was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run. That  stolen base was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Brooklyn Nunley was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 Meanwhile, White County didn't have quite enough to beat Lumpkin County on Wednesday and fell  3-2. The Warriors have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 White County now  has a losing record of 12-13. As for Commerce, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
