The West Mifflin Titans can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They put the hurt on Uniontown with a sharp 51-25 win. The score was close at the half, but West Mifflin pulled away in the second half with 38 points.
Uniontown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Geelece Ingram, who scored seven points. A?kira Dade was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The victory (which was West Mifflin's third in a row) raised their record to 9-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.7 points. As for Uniontown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Mifflin will square off against the Scotties at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southmoreland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 619th, while the Titans are ranked 284th). As for Uniontown, they will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
