The Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Victory Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Two weeks ago, Alabama School for the Deaf had to suffer through a rough 70-30 loss at the hands of Jacksonville Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-57 to Westminster School at Oak Mountain. Victory Christian has not had much luck with Westminster School at Oak Mountain recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Victory Christian had strong showings from William Wilson-Hueter, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds, and Peyton Scott, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. The game was Scott's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Wilson, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
Alabama School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Victory Christian, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Alabama School for the Deaf came up short against Victory Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 57-52. Can Alabama School for the Deaf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
