The Campolindo Cougars will challenge the Las Lomas Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Campolindo will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Campolindo barely beat Vacaville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 12-1 win last Friday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.
Campolindo got a great performance from Tyler Rogers as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Rogers has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Eli Dudum, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Augie Martinez was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Campolindo hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Las Lomas waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Lions 6-4.
Preston Hillis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Christo Georgiou, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Campolindo's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Las Lomas, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Las Lomas' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Campolindo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. It's a different story for Las Lomas, though, as they've only averaged .240. Will they be able to contain Campolindo's hitters?
Campolindo might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Las Lomas in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
