The Paradise Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 45-26 bruising from Winters. While losing is never fun, Paradise can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1073rd, while the Warriors are ranked 445th).
Winters' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Tucker, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Dodic, who scored 11 points.
Paradise has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Winters, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paradise will challenge the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winters, they will head out on the road to square off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
